Midday Carols

When: 19 December, 12pm to 1pm

Where: Chelmsford Cathedral, Chelmsford, Chelmsford, Essex, CM1 1TY

What is it: Sing your favourite carols on your lunch break, or pop in while you're Christmas shopping, and enjoy mulled wine and mince pies! A Soprano will sing some sacred and secular favourites and the organist will play some seasonal, fun pieces.

What is it: Sing your favourite Christmas carols by the light of our Christmas tree in the beautiful surroundings of the Cathedral. Book free tickets to help manage the numbers attending.

Festive Makers Markets at the Harvey Centre

What is it: Visit the Pop-up Festive Makers Markets and explore unique, handcrafted Christmas gifts and festive treats from talented local makers.

Celebrate Christmas With Twist And Shout Dinner 

When: 18 December, 7pm

Where: Cliffs Pavilion, Station Road, Southend, Essex, SS0 7RA

What is it: After a sparkling drink and a three course dinner have some fun: Put your dancing shoes on and enjoy the sights and sounds of the 60's with hits from The Beatles, Cilla Black, The Rolling Stones and Christmas classics to get you in the festive mood!

Dementia Friendly Carol Service

What is it: Everyone is welcome for this short Christmas carol service in the Cathedral.

Festive Wreath Making 

When: 18 November to 20 December, Tuesdays - Saturdays 10:30am - 12:30pm. 

Where: Beth Chatto's Plants & Gardens, Elmstead Market, Colchester, Essex, CO7 7DB

What is it: Make your own festive wreath using a natural base and plant materials gathered from Beth's garden. All foliage and natural materials are supplied. Admission to the garden is included. Look at the website to book a place.

EPUT West Essex Integrated Community Physical and Mental Health teams joined together to develop a range of helpful soundbites to advise and support health promotion strategies for listeners.
